A Walk in the Park

Or a walk in the backyard, anyway! These are my completed "Sixth Sense Socks" from the Six Sox Knitalong, and I LOVE how they turned out. I made them in Elan Peruvian Baby Cashmere, on a 2.25 mm addi turbo (swooshhhhhh, as Brenda of Cast-On would say). I originally intended them as a gift, but they turned out to fit me perfectly, and my daughter loves how "cuddly" they are, so they may just keep on walking in my own yard! These were a good experience for me because I got to do a garter stitch short row heel, and a hemmed cuff, both of which were new to me. So off to the next pair, which are the new Hedera pattern from Knitty!
